Fueled by a playful love of, and wonder for the world around her.

Middleton achieved a BA(Hons) in Photographic and Electronic Media from Gray’s School of Art in 2008 along with notable awards.
Her focus at that point was installation art which triggered a fascination with understanding the role of perception and experience in art. Over the past couple of decades her art has moved into the realms of painting with a particular love of painting at live events, capturing something of the collective and spiritual experience on canvas.
Interconnectivity, relativity and representation of reality are all ideas that continue to fascinate her and that run through her work.
Fueled by a playful love of, and wonder for the world around her, Middleton has spent the years since art school focused on painting and drawing as a core medium winning awards in this field too.
She has travelled to many places around the world but now lives in North Aberdeenshire with her husband, daughter and spaniel in a place she now thinks of as paradise.
